Tarryn Leigh Kisten is a Law graduate from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN). She graduated with her Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) in May 2023 and Thereafter, completed her LEAD Practical Training at the University of Cape Town, graduating in the top 5% of her class. She has a keen interest in Social justice and Human Rights. In the final year of her LLB, she attended an internship at Aspen Pharmacare, a multi-national pharmaceutical company, headquartered in Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal, which sparked an interest in Medical Law. She joined Simpsons Attorneys Inc. as a Candidate Attorney to Tamlyn Melville in 2024. Her duties include new client consults and inquiries, drafting and research of Legal documents, consultations, and court attendance. Tarryn lives her life by the motto C'est la vie a French saying she learned whilst studying the language, which literally means “this is the life” – we have been given the gift of life – not to just survive but thrive!
